6 years ago in a car bomb.Monk has all sorts of phobeas like milk,snakes,frogs,GERMS,he doesn't shake hands,change,soccer rides(when everyone gets on the field in a big fight),ect.Monk has a assistant,Natilie Teeger.She has a daughter,Julie.He used to have another assistant,Sharona.She Moved back to new jersey to marry her ex-husband.Monk has one brother.And he had/has a father but he left them when they were kids.Monk wants to get re-enstated to the police force.But he just can't seem to do it.Monk works with Capt. Stottlemeyer,Lut. Disher,and thats about it. Monk comes on tv @ USA.
